How a big group works

Nobody waits around.

Larger groups split across up to three ranges with an instructor team per range. Everyone starts together for the briefing, shoots in parallel squads, and reunites at the end for the medal presentation.

Attendee requirements

Before you confirm your attendees — requirements for every participant: • 15 years or older, photo ID on the day (licence or passport) • Meets Queensland's legislative eligibility (Weapons Act s.53) — broadly, participants can't have certain serious criminal convictions, be subject to a current protection order, or have had certain orders/licence refusals in the last 5 years • Completes our online waiver and police paperwork before the day — we'll send one link that covers everything; it takes each person about 5 minutes. No paper, nothing to print. Unsure whether something in someone's history matters? Good questions

Before you book your group.

Do we need licences? +
No. Private events are structured so that no licence and no experience is required. Every participant must be 15 or older, bring photo IDon the day, and confirm Queensland's legislative eligibility on a declaration form.

Unsure whether something in someone's history matters? Have them call us confidentially before you lock in numbers.

What does each attendee need to do beforehand? +
Each person completes an individual online waiver and the police paperwork via a link we send - about 5 minutes each, fully digital, done before the day. No paper, nothing to print.
Can non-shooters come? +
Yes - guests are welcome to attend alongside your group without participating. Nobody sits out the day; they just skip the trigger time.
What should everyone wear? +
Closed shoes, comfortable clothes - that's it. It's an outdoor range and your group has the whole range to itself, so there's no bounced brass to worry about.
Drinks and food? +
Range first, bar after - the order never changes. The clubhouse bar opens once the shooting ends, with a solid selection of beers, and the snack bar is well stocked.
What if our numbers change? +
Adding people needs 5 days' notice so we can roster instructors. Reductions follow the cancellation policy - 48 hours' notice for refunds.
Payment terms? +
A 50% deposit locks your date in; the balance is due three weeks before the event. Tax invoices are issued with each payment.
How far ahead should we book? +
Saturdays typically book out 2+ months ahead. Weekday mornings have the best availability.
